Q. What exactly will I need to use the BBQ Guru System?
A. You will need three things, first a Control Unit, we have three to choose from, see the right hand side of this page for information on them. Next, you will need the right fan for your cooker. Then you will need an adapter door for your specific cooker, we carry doors for Guru to fit on literally any type of cooker out there.
Q. Why do I even need a BBQ Guru?
A. Because you are making inferior BBQ without one, simply put. Controlling temperature in a cooker is a hard thing to do without assistance, and even the professional cookers can only achieve this so often. With the Guru you will save money in charcoal and wood costs because of the even, slow burn you will get that uses up all of the fuel in the pan, rather than leaving debris in your fire pan. Bottom line, you will save time, money and increase the flavor and quality of your BBQ.
Q. Is the BBQ Guru Legal for Competition?
A. YES! Power draft accesories are completley legal in the KCBS and MIM judging formats. It's amazing that most competitors do not own one, it would make their lives and product so much better! You will have an advantage!
Q. Is there a warranty on the units?
A. Yes there is a one year manufactorers warranty on the units on defects in production. If something happens to the unit due to accident, we will work with you on getting it repaired or working out a deal on a replacement. There are no guarantees on that of course, but we will do our best to take care of you!
